Project Life Tuesday

Hello ladies!  I've got a few weeks of layouts to share with you today - check it out: {June 17-23}

We spent some time painting our media room in the basement and putting all of our sports memorabilia on the walls.

My dailies from this week were all Instagram shots, which I printed through Persnickety Prints.  I used a page protector that holds 9 4x4 images on each side.  I just cut on strip off the protector so it holds 6-4x4 images on each side.

We also did some yard work.  I used a Design A page protector for the before and...

{June 24-30}

More painting!  We painted another room in the basement.

I added an insert to include a few pictures from my daughter's trip to Kentucky with my mom.  They visited the Kentucky Horse Farm and the Creation Museum.

4 of my dailies from this week - do you see those super delicious HOT Krispy Kreme donuts down there?  Oh yea....

Here's another insert.  We had our first party at our new house on June 30th. I used a Design F page protector and cut the right side off of it.  Perfect fit!

{July 1-7}

We went to a Braves game on July 3rd with a group of friends from church and had a blast!

This is a We R Memory Keepers page protector.  I like this one because the center allows for 3 square photos.  I inserted pictures from July 4th fireworks and a couple pictures of my Mini Scrapbooks that I made for my friends.

Perspectives...A Photo Challenge - Yellow

 

I struggled a bit with this week's them - Yellow.  Not sure why.  I love yellow.  But as far as pictures with yellow in them....didn't seem to have much.

I found a few that I love, though.  I hope you love them, too!  :)

My two favorite people - my hubby, Mark, and my daughter, Marley.  Mark rarely wears much color, so I'm happy he wore yellow here.  :)

Back to School Round-Up

It's that wonderful time of the year again....moms start getting excited to have some "me" time again, kids start whining about getting up early...  Moms are running around like crazy people trying to get the kids ready for back-to-school - school supplies, new back pack and lunch box, school lunch ideas, new clothes, new shoes, new hair cuts, dentist appointments, doctors appointments.....

*sigh*

It's exhausting.  I know...  Marley begins her final year of elementary school this year.  My heart strings are feeling the heavy tug.  I pinch myself repeatedly because I can't believe I have a 5th-grader!!!

Perspectives...a photo challenge

I stumbled upon this blog and challenge on Pinterest (go figure, right?) and I was really excited!  Today is the first photo challenge linky party, so you still have plenty of time to join in!
The theme this week is "Summer", and the challenge is to show your perspective (yep, it's in the title!) of "Summer" using 3 photographs.
I'm in love with this picture...seriously.  I am blessed with a photogenic child :)
