Project Life Tuesday

The Mom Creative

Hey friends!  I'm still playing "catch-up" with my Project Life, so this week I'll be showing you the week of June 10 - 16th.

I used Design D page protector for the first side of this week's layout.  This was the week in which I did my first ever paid blog post for Cool Whip, so Marley and I made Dirt Cake!  :)  I also received a gift package packed full of goodies from LeBox Boutique.  Fun!

{Close-up of crossed-off To-Do List}

I printed directly on the washi tape for the journal for this picture.  The date is above the picture, with a little note below.

I love all of the colors in this picture, so I complimented them by mixing several strips of cardstock from the Clementine Edition of Project Life.

Here's a close-up of Marley making the dirt cake (and licking the bowl clean)!

I added an insert to show some before and after pictures of our house.  Again I printed directly on the washi tape and stuck it right on the picture.

{A couple of close-ups}

A few more before and after shots on the back, as well as our new furniture and me sticking down shelf liner.

{Another close-up}

On June 12th, I snapped 12 pictures of things that are new.  We had more than 12 things, but I narrowed it down to my Top 12.  :)

From top left - Cute Welcome mat, Living room furniture, Marley's bedding, Big TV in the basement.

I kept the title simple.  Thickers spell out "twelve".  Then I printed onto a clear label "On the 12th" and "Things that are new..."

The back side shows the remaining 8 new items - our bedding, shower curtain, fridge, jewelry armoire, front entryway rug, Family Rules sign, ottomans, and bedroom furniture.

I also added a big pocket to contain all of my June goodies, including birthday cards and one of the cards I made announcing our move to our friends.

------------------------------------------------

I'm still about 3 weeks behind, but I'm getting there!  :)  There's so much going on these days, but I love the simplicity that Project Life brings to memory keeping, while still allowing me to be creative and colorful.  The perfect combination!

Be sure to come back Thursday!  I have an awesome craft project to share - it is by far my most favorite creation to date.  Can't wait to show you all the pictures!!!
