Lots of stuff going on here. I didn't realize it had been so long since my last real post...but seriously, it's been, like...well, too damn long.
Life has been stressful and super busy, but things finally slowed down to a comfortable pace last week and we were able to sneak away for a completely unplugged and relaxing Spring Break vacation to Florida.
Here's a taste of what I've been up to:
I started a Thirty-One business (YAY ME!) and I've done a few shows and it's going great! Really excited about this new phase of my life.
Spring Break couldn't have come at a more perfect time. We started our break with a trip to Zoo Atlanta.
Marley won 4 tickets at a Summer Camp Expo a few weeks back, so we took my mom and made a fun day of it!

The tigers performed for us. There was a mom with her 2 cubs and they were play-fighting while we were there. Too cute :)

On Monday, we headed off to Daytona Beach, Florida.

Super fantastic vacation, and much needed. We came home Friday evening but the fun didn't stop there!
Saturday we went to a friend's house to celebrate their daughter's 6th birthday, then stuck around for an Easter egg hunt for the kids.
These kids were on a serious sugar high!
Then, of course, Sunday was Easter!
The Easter bunny came! Marley got a cute little bunny - she's sooo soft. She reminds me of the Velveteen Rabbit :)
Mark and I got Marley a new bike for Easter, too. She was so excited to get her new mountain bike!

I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter and Spring Break. I have missed you all so very much. Thank you for your patience while my family and I enjoyed some much-needed down time and dealt with reality.
I'm looking forward to jumping back into the blog and crafting and sharing it all with you. I've been brainstorming a lot and have some new ideas to share with you over the coming weeks.

ReplyDeleteLast summer, my girlfriends and I went on the most relaxing vacation in the Florida Keys. We found an incredible rental in the awesome Ocean Reef Community in Key Largo. Elaine knew Bob from Swenson & Ecuyer Realty and he found us this perfect condo right on the breathtaking Marina.
