Simple Things Sunday

I have a verse written in my journal that I refer to often in times of stress or struggle.  I've read this verse to Marley several times.  The other day, she sat down with her Bible and asked me where that verse was in the Bible so she could highlight it.

Warms my heart to see her so strong in her faith at 9 years of age.

The verse:

"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.  Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

Be alert and of sober mind.  Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.  Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you  know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.  To Him be the power for ever and ever.

Amen."

1 Peter 5:6-11

Since Rebecca over at Simple As That isn't hosting today (I pray everything is OK with her - I miss her!), I thought I'd give you a chance to share your precious moments here today.  Feel free to link up your Simple Things Sunday below.  This is for photography sharing only - this is not where you link up your latest crafty creations - we'll still do that on {Not So} Tough Tuesday, so please come back for that:
