A Hand-made Halloween

We've got a party coming up soon, and I've been busy preparing.  I've already shared the invitations and banner with you, so now I have a couple of quick and easy Halloween crafts to share to add to the decor.

Before I show you the crafts, I want to remind you that my first ever Linky Party starts TOMORROW!  Be sure to link up all of your awesome Halloween stuff!

First I'll show you my Halloween picture frames.  I started with 2 5x7 frames that I already had, then decided to fancy them up a bit.

To make them more Halloween-y, I used black high-gloss spray paint.  I used 2 coats of spray paint, and while the second coat was still tacky, I spinkled some purple glitter onto one of the frames.

For the second frame, I added a cluster of googly eyes and a Halloween ribbon.

I found these great Halloween printables, printed them on cardstock, and put them in the frames.
And voila!  My cute little Halloween frames!

I also made these cute little spiders.  These are SUPER easy, and could be a lot of fun to do with the kids.  All you need is a pipe cleaner, a pom-pom, some googly eyes, and glue dots.

Fold a pipe-cleaner into thirds, cut it, then twist in the middle to make the legs of the spider.  (Yes, spiders technically have 8 legs, and yes, a lot of spiders are black, but we're being creative here!)

Add a pom-pom.

Give him some eyes.

I made a whole little spider family.

So there you have it.  Two super cute and super easy Halloween crafts.  Most of these items are probably lying around the house already.  I didn't have to spend a penny to make any of these.

Remember, tomorrow is our first ever Linky Party!  And it's all things Halloween.  12:01AM Eastern time, Tuesday morning, the Linky Party goes live so be sure to link up!  I can't wait to see all of your cool creations.  :)

See you tomorrow!
