This past week has been hectic, between daily drama and getting ready for Marley to start school on Monday...it's been hard to find time to breathe.
But then, this past Thursday, I was reminded of why I do all that I do as a mom. We were on our way to Open House at her school to meet her 4th grade teacher. All week long she had been nervous, because she has heard how much harder 4th grade can be. I keep reminding her that 4th grade is harder than 3rd grade because she is learning new stuff. But that's what makes her smarter and more driven to be successful, and for that, I'm so proud of her.
Finally, when we rounded the corner of the road and she saw her school, she got excited, and she took this shot:
After meeting her teacher, seeing her classroom, and discovering who her classmates are going to be, she was really excited, and began looking forward to Monday.
I'm not sure if I'm truly ready for my "baby" to be a 4th grader, but I'm glad she finally is...

What a fun pic :) My boys don't go back for a couple of weeks but it seems time is speeding by so quickly. From tomorrow until school starts its gonna get crazy as we have to get uniforms and supplies and get ready. My youngest son is going into 3rd grade and my oldest goes into 8th where this year (Sept) he'll turn 13 EEK and graduate..(passing out) So before I start getting weepy and thinking where did my baby go I'm going to squeeze and love every minute and enjoy cause Time flies by when we are having fun! :) Thanks for stopping at my blog.
